Celexion is developing biology-based tools that can positively impact R&D timelines and quality.  Within the protein engineering industry, we have created a next-generation, yeast-based directed evolution platform for both de novo discovery and protein engineering applications.  This platform is embodied in our SECANT® yeast display system and our naive antibody library.  These two tools are modular in the sense that they have been developed and tailored to be compatible with a wide range of other libraries and platforms.  They are also both available under service agreements or as in-licensed technologies.

SECANT® yeast display platform

The development risk involved in biologics necessitates mitigation techniques to ensure the best antibody or enzyme is being used.  For this effort, Celexion developed the SECANT® platform, a high-throughput discovery and optimization system that is the first patent-pending yeast system to display full-length IgG antibodies.  The SECANT® platform is able to display a variety of proteins including antibodies, enabling the high throughput screening of up to 10⁹ variants for:

• Complex Scaffold Engineering
• Scaffold Reformatting
• Affinity Maturation
• Antibody Humanization
• Screen for Stability, Solubility, Folding-Control
